Top 5 Must Haves for autumn/winter!

Lets face it, not everyone can afford to buy a whole new wardrobe for every season, and with autumn/winter round the corner I've picked the top 5 things you'll need to make your wardrobe on trend for this coming season. (look out for posts on how to style each piece)

The first essential is anything army, camo style print, and what better than getting a winter coat following this trend while getting something you need?! topshop and zara have plenty right now but ive picked out my ultimate favourite!

Fur lined camo jacket, topshop- £75

The second is a trend that you can show through shoes, tops, nails and even makeup. its the galactic space print. Merky mixes of blues, greens and purples with subtle glitter and black. i picked out these leggings as they can be dressed up and down.

Next is a top that can literally be work with anything, and its showing the trend of 'collar tips' which is a great way to show embellishment in a more subtle, grungy way. not to mention it goes with the leggings i showed previously!

Second last is something small, grungy and makes me get all excited about winter thinking about it, its a dip dye beanie and will look amazing on anyone, i have no words. (also available in khaki & beige)

The last and not least is the most versatile on the lot, and something I've just treated myself too. 'Vans' are a huge trend right now, they come in all different colours and styles and are super duper comfy. you can also custom make yours online at the vans website. i just bought the black ones as they are super simple and will go with everything.

Lookbook;styles of the now!

So right now styles consist of studs, leather and different prints and dyes of fabrics. mix textures and colours to create a cult look for yourself!

As i mention previously, mixing textures is eye catching but subtly doing it will make your look perfect all round and easier to wear. I styled my model, holly in a denim shirt and lace shorts for a classic but modern style, then added a pair of floral doc martens to toughen up the look.

Look #2

I based look 2 on a way to toughen up floral prints to keep them on trend and mix the look up a little, simply but pairing a leather jacket with a floral playsuit. Try simple black or brown rope, hippie style necklaces and big rings. not forgetting a pretty pair of wedges (the shoes of the now!!)

You may look at this 3rd style and think its pretty 'tumblr' and yes, but tumblr is full of people with a great style. This picture is showing the simple jewellery and doc martins (any chunky or biker style boots are so perfect for this season) with an ombré jumper which also has studs on the shoulders, the most perfect, jaw dropping mix of styles and textures.
