Dress up for the party season, and down for the christmas sales!

So we all have that dress that we wear for 1, maybe 2 occasions. Then it lives in our wardrobe for the rest of its life, maybe gets worn a few more times, right? Well theres a way to solve this problem many women are guilty of. Unless your 'made in chelsea' or someone who needs to attend so many formal events, theres no need to buy all the dresses! Although, thats my weak point.. dresses & shoes.. haha! So i came up with 3 ways to wear 1 dress that could be worn for 3 levels of formality. Casual/semicasual/minor formal.
Casual- Going round to a friends or to the cinema.
SemiCasual- Shopping or lunch with friends.
Formal- Dressy dinner or party

This is the casual look thats great for staying cosy and looking stylish.
just throw a jumper over the dress and add some boots for a touch of winter chic.

This is a semi casual look thats great for a lunch or casual dinner out, or a visit to a friends house, cinema or and semi-casual event.

Cardigan- Hollister

The last look is pretty self explanatory, a dress tights and a pair of black heels.

I managed to find it!

So mac's holiday collection always has had a favourite that gets sold out and one of them this year is the pink DazzleSphere lip glass set. I wanted to see why this was a favourite so i tried The mac website, house of Fraser, Debenhams and there was still no way I was getting it so i checked selfridges and loan behold.. there it was. So i bought it and now i can see why its the favourite with 4 truly loveable colours in the cute snow globe themed packaging!

The snog lobe packaging is a great idea and could be used for good room decor in the future with some cute changes. it holds the 4 lipglasses and is perfect for having them on display.

The set has 2 creme sheen glasses and 2 dazzle glasses. the colours are..

'petit indulgence' is a hot pink with no shimmer.

'fashion scoop' is a light pink with tiny pearly shimmer.

' rags to riches is a rosy pink with blue,green & purple shimmer, it also has a gold undertone.

'Like venus is a purple toned bright pink saturated with medium chunky shimmer.

So its only in the past few months I've started burning candles, I was always to clumsy to trust myself with a a naked flam in my room, and i didn't know where to put it so it was safe. However, now that i sorted that and trust myself, I decided to buy some candles to burn this winter! I bought 2 yankee candles and i wanted to share with you Just how amazing they are!

The 1st one is called 'christmas eve' which smells, essentially like.. christmas eve! It has fruity scents,and cinnamon mixed in with subtle hints of mulled wine & cinnamon. Its seriously such a christmasy scent and going to be my must have in the run up to christmas!
