DIY - Facial scrub!

so we all look for that perfect skincare routine & we try everything! but sometimes you need to take a step back from all the industrial products and take a look at natures beauties.

this facial scrub helps to fight acne , reduce redness & brighten the skin. It will also soften & plump the skin so you will have perfects flawless skin in no time.

heres how to make this wonderful skin remedy..

First you need to get everything.
-honey
-Salt (sea salt)
-spoon
- bowl

Put the salt in a bowl , you can choose how much you want to make , but if you make to much just put it in a c obtainer and use it another day:)!







Put about 2 teaspoons of honey in , you can decide the quantities of each thing but i like mine quite thick with a lot of salt.

Begin mixing them and make sure its mixed thoroughly.

when it looks like this you can use it or put it in a tub and keep it.

I like you put it on a clean dry face and leave for about 10 minutes , then gently exfoliate while washing off.

1 lace dress .. 10 ways to wear it!

So when we buy a dress it tends to be something we wear a few times then it lurks in our wardrobe for ages before it has the chance to be used again.. lace has made a huge comeback these past few years and since kate Middleton wore a dress covered in it for the royal wedding this year , it has become even more increasingly popular!

I bought a lace dress from asos and the first thing i did was check that i could wear it all the time! Heres the dress by itself..

Then i decided I would do 10 ways to wear it.. seasons are irrelevant with this little lace wonder haha! it goes with tights and bare legs , proving that dresses can easily be dressed for a day to the cinema , or out for lunch. rather than just for parties and formal occasions.

Here you go , my 10 ways that i put together for this dress, different seasons , styles but all the same dress!

QR of the week!

 Heyy everyone! sorry i have been a little MIA lately but school just started recently and we have got lots of stuff to do haha! but I'm back on track now and ready to pay a lot of attention to this:D! I have the QR of the week today:)! something I haven't fully made my mind up on yet hehe!

So its the smash box 'photo OP under eye brightener'
recently in the past few years under eye concealers with brightness have become increasingly popular , i usually look dead in the morning without using my garnier under eye tinted roll on , but i think i love the smash box concealer even more! it has vitamin E , peptides & .. Red wine extract?! not even joking here! Its a sheer liquid formula which blends on and covers dark circles amazingly , the applicator is like a mac lustre glass brush! and its zoo good for the application! here is some pictures of the product!..

Heres what i wore today , its a sunny day and I'm having a BBQ in my garden with a few friends , I decided to rise to the occasion of some actually sunlight haha! I don't have much time so heres the outfit:)!


Playsuit/romper - Hollister - around £35
Jacket - Topshop - £45
jewellery and belt - topshop (can't remember exact prices:P!)


Sorry i couldn't do much about this outfit today as I'm in a rush , although i hope you like it and please follow , it would dmean a heck of a lot:)!

DIY-1.. Simple clear skin.

Its true what people say , simple things are the most effective! I found a natural skin remedy that has worked better on my skin than any other cleanser and i have tried too many!
'bubzbeauty' on youtube will also mention this in a video of hers:)!

So the natural skin remedy is oats! as well as being good for you when you eat them , it is also great for skin as a daily cleanser! Its so inexpensive and completely natural . just 100% oats!

Step one to your oat cleanser is just to hold some on your hand clenching a fit gently and letting the water run on to your hands until the oats are soft.

step two is to squeeze the liquid your of the oats, put it on your face because its all goodness!:)

step 3 is to massage the oats on to your face. it shouldn't feel scratchy or rough but not completely pasty , just massage it gently into the face for about a minute then wash off and pat your face dry.

Apply your favourite moisturiser and then your set!

I love oats now and so does my skin! its bright , soft and clean!

Todays (doe) daily outfit express!

Heres todays outfit:)!
Event - I went to a friends house then to a beach BBQ , so i needed something practical but cut that was practical for any weather but still with a summery touch!


I just put on something casual that made me look summery at the same time , so some simple gold jewellery , a light top and some high waisted light shorts , with a red jumper for a pop of vivid colour! & a simple boho brown leather bag which i loveeeee;)!

Daily Outfit Express! (Doe)

I missed yesterdays so here it is!

It was just a walk with some friends and then a gorily night in , so i just wanted something simple but cute:)!

I just put on a pair of jeans and a cute cream embellished top which i altered myself to suit me. then i just put on a brown skinny leather belt and my favourite red hollister jumper since it doesn't feel like summer at all in scotland haha!:) i also put on an antique gold looking pendant that has a rocking horse on it , just to add a quirky edge!:) I just wore my hair down and natural:) and very little makeup:P

The 5 power products for work&school!

Every year women & girls ponder over the beauty products the need for back to school and work. products differ on your needs and wants and budget but I have chosen my essentials that i am definitely going to use when i go back to school! so here is my 5 power products that make up any beginners makeup bag or any gurus essentials list.

So heres the facts , opinions , reasons & names!..





So the first is foundation , this one was recommended by a friend and I'm so glad it was , it has a nice even & perfecting coverage that isn't heavy and lasts all day! It looks so natural and is in nice packaging and a wide range of colours that have nice undertones.

Foundation is essential for a long day of work and talking , laughing and exercise. Foundation will help cover imperfections and even out your skin tone , keeping you looking radiant and flawless all day long!

<- loreal Infalible fondation - around £12

The next product to apply is a good powder , something that isn't cake but will set your makeup and stop you looking oily during to day. It will also keep your foundation on longer causing less touchups and hassle throughout the day , also keeping your skin fresher and less makeup to take off at night!

<--mac mineralize skinfinish - around £18

Then its time to work on the eyes . Nothing better than awake , bright eyes and flawless skiing to hide the truth.. that you were up till 2am finishing homework or watching jersey shore;) haha! anyway , i chose bare study paint pot to use all over the lid and in the inner corners , super simple and great for many uses!

The 3rd is mascara , any mascara of your choice is good! choose one that lengthins and define your lashes , this will open your eyes and make your look more awake , not forgetting how long and luscious your lashes will look!

The last essential product is a lip stain , or some form of long lasting lip colour , this will keep your face looking bright and your smile gorgeous all throughout the day! I chose revlon's 'just bitten' which has a marker lip stain and a blame , so your lips can be moisturised all day to with a sheen on them!

Daily outfit Express! (Doe)

Here it is again:) my daily outfit!


                             
This is just a simple summery outfit that i chose to wear to hang out and have lunch with my friends , i just put my hair up and framed my face with some stray pieces next to my ear. I put on a floral top from hollister and a tray cardigan also from hollister , my jeans are from a little italian boutique but lets face it , you can buy white skinnies anywhere:P! For accessories i just put on a tan leather belt and my links of london sweetie bracelet. this outfit is super simple but summery , just something to round of this season:)

Here it is , the daily outfit express , Doe for short! each day i will show you my outfit and what i paired with it , tell you the event and why I chose it , I figured its an essential to any fashion and beauty blog! -I paired a sleeveless black blouse with some high waisted navy blues shorts and some gold bangles that have a blue ribbon through them , to make the blue shorts blend with the outfit , for shoes I just threw on some black pumps from topshop!
- I Wore this outfit for a day with my friends , i know pictures would be taken but i had to choose something super comfy and casual , this was perfect! and It matches lots so i could throw over a red jumper or black cardigan , anything along those lines! QR of the week!

So heres the quick review of the week for all you guys & girls! every week i will be reviewing a product that i have tried out and put through its paces for a post at the end of the year based on the winners and losers of this year! so here we go!

I chose to review the YSL faux cils mascara , its was voted the uks best mascara and i have to admit , Im not surprised! It lengthing while subtly volumising and defining to give that natural but super long lash effect , its the perfect mascara for all occasions and i don't think much will beat it! it is on the costly side at £22 but i reckon its well worth it! maybe ou could get someone at a counter to try it on you! I probably wouldn't reccomeng it to people with very sparse thin lashes at its quite a wet formula , its dries in enough time to put it on but not to smudge while you work around it! defiantly now one of my makeup must haves!

The packaging shows just how luxurious this product is , its a shiny royal gold metal and has the YSL logo on it , simple classy & well ,  luxurious!














The wand is a simple but very effective shape , it has the classic bristles that have been spaced out nicely to define each lash perfectly , causing the fibres in the mascara to set perfectly on your lashes , leaving you with flawless eyes!




I just did a quick before and after , just so can get the brief idea of what the mascara look like! mine is just in the colour '1' it did have a name but I can't remember it , sorry! its just the black one haha! and sorry , the quality of the pictures aren't the best but I'm sure you get the idea!
